Holiday Giving

It is that time of year again, when Susan turns into Santa and all his elves!! She spearheads a gift giving campaign, working with local schools and local businesses to make sure that no child goes without this holiday season. This is the tenth year we have been organizing this initiative. Last year with generous contributions from twenty-eight local businesses, we were able to help twenty-six families with a total of seventy-three children from Bangor Area Schools. It is heart warming to read the letters these children write in thanks and the comments they make to their teachers. We include gift cards for grocery stores along with the toys, clothes and household items.
