Men’s Teeth – Why they should see a dentist today!

Posted on July 13th, 2014

We get it. Oral hygiene is probably not something that you find yourself talking to your buddies about on the weekends. You probably don’t watch YouTube videos of teeth cleanings. That’s why Creative Dental Solutions is here to offer you only the information that you really need to know to keep both your mouth and body as healthy as possible.

Your Teeth Are Not Tools

It’s super handy to just have a mouth full of jar-openers and label-peelers and tag-rippers, right? No! Men’s teeth are just as delicate as anyone else’s and you can damage the enamel, leaving them sensitive to both heat and cold. At the worst, you can break off a tooth and need a painful extraction of the pieces left. So stick with tools outside your mouth, please, and save your teeth for food.

Tooth Pain

If you have a painful or sensitive tooth, don’t just try to suck it up and deal with the pain. While it could be something minor, it could also be the sign of a serious problem such as root damage or severe gum disease. The longer you try to “live with it”, the more dangerous it could become, even leading to potentially life-threatening situations.

Teeth Whitening for Men

Men’s teeth are ideal for whitening too! Teeth whitening isn’t just for women, and there’s nothing wrong with a man wanting his teeth to look as bright and fresh as possible. The important thing to remember is that bleaching can make your teeth sensitive and, if it does, you have to let us know! We can always tailor our treatment to your comfort level, and our Creative Dental Solutions staff wants you to be as comfortable as possible.

Schedule with us today and don’t forget to let Drs. James Sevey and David Haluska know if you have any questions!
