11.23.10, What Has Dr. Sevey been up to!
Dr. Sevey has just returned from a week in Scottsdale, AZ at the Scotsdale Center for Dentistry, a state of the art facility for dental continuing education. He spent two days in a Level 3 course in CEREC, the technology that allows Dr. Sevey to fabricate all-porcelain crowns in one visit. He then spent three days in a workshop with Frank Spear, one of the most respected educators in the dental profession. The workshop, titled “Facially Generated Treatment Planning,” outlined an approach to comprehensive treatment planning that uses the patient’s desired aesthetic outcome as the starting point in the over-all planning process.
Dr. Sevey has had an extremely busy year on the Continuing Education circuit! He has taken over 100 hours in Implant Dentistry courses alone, and additional courses in CEREC all-porcelain crowns, Invisalign, Sedation Dentistry, and Advanced Restorative Dentistry for a total of over 250 hours of Continuing Education in 2010!
